X-LAB TECHNOLOGY
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a natural molecule that degrades naturally in the body. We therefore needed to find a way of stabilising HA to increase its lifespan in situ.
This stabilisation is achieved by cross-linking. It consists of linking the long chains of HA together by bridges to form a network comparable to a mesh. The molecule that creates these bridges is a crosslinker.
The most commonly used crosslinker is BDDE (butanediol diglycidylether).
Our X-lab technology uses a high molecular weight - around 2 million daltons - of hyaluronic acid, which makes it possible to obtain long chains of HA.
This high molecular weight of homogeneous hyaluronic acid particles is cross-linked with a small amount of BDDE (less than 1%).
Thanks to this new technology, the long HA chains are entangled between the chemical cross-links, forming physical bonds. The result is a strong, flexible gel network, even when only a small amount of BDDE is used.
The viscoelasticity is perfectly adjusted: the HA gel provides a low extrusion force for easy, precise injections.
Cohesiveness is maintained at its highest level: the strength of adhesion between the HA molecules means that the gel does not dissolve and stays in the skin for a long time.
- a natural, smooth result thanks to the even particle size
- a volumising and shaping effect thanks to the gel's optimised firmness
- a long-lasting effect thanks to the unique X-Lab technology
- maximum safety thanks to our experience and the quality of our products

THE PROTOCOL
Hyaluronic acid injections take place in a doctor's surgery, under contact anaesthetic or without anaesthetic. The health professional begins by cleansing the face. The sessions are quick and can be used for extended treatments without difficulty, taking between 20 and 60 minutes depending on the number of syringes used and, of course, the number of areas to be treated.
Following the treatment, the results are immediately visible, wrinkles are filled in and facial volumes are restored.
